Privacy Policy — Horsing
This Privacy Policy describes how Horsing APP, Inc. (“Horsing,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Horsing iOS app and related backend services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- Account & profile: name, email, hashed password, optional phone, company details, role, membership status
- Location: precise GPS (with permission) for trip tracking, ETAs, and optional document geotags; may include background location during active trips
- Photos / camera: BOL and dispute evidence, vehicle or facility photos (with permission)
- Contacts: optional access to find people already on Horsing
- Device / usage: device info, push tokens, IP/server logs, product usage needed to operate features
- Payments: processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
- Communications: support messages; SMS/email via providers such as Twilio and SendGrid when configured
2. How we use information
We use data to operate accounts and authentication, provide logistics features (shipments, tracking, messaging, shop, memberships), verify email/phone when you use those flows, send transactional messages, process payments, improve security and support, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Other Horsing users on a shipment or organization, as needed for the product
- Service providers (hosting, database, Redis, email, SMS, payments) under contract
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- Parties to a merger or acquisition, subject to continued protection
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on cloud infrastructure we operate or contract (including API hosting and PostgreSQL). Passwords are hashed. Production API traffic uses HTTPS. No system is 100% secure.
5. Retention
We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request account deletion.
6. Your choices
- Change iOS permissions (Location, Camera, Photos, Contacts, Notifications) anytime
- Update profile information in the app
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing the privacy contact above
7. Children
Horsing is for business and adult users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable).
8. International users
Servers may be located in the United States. If you use Horsing from elsewhere, your data may be processed in the US or other countries where our providers operate.
9. Third parties
Apple, Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, and infrastructure providers process data under their own policies when you use related features.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy and will revise the effective / last-updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy where permitted by law.
